330R 1/8 DIN Process Monitor and Indicator

The Moore 330 Process Monitor has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
For a direct replacement try the
ES100 Process & Temperature Meters

The universal Model 330R 1/8 DIN Process Monitor and Indicator accepts a signal input from a process instrument or temperature sensor and shows real-time process status on its large display.

The economical Model 330R Process Controllers are available with alarm outputs for on/off control or to warn of unwanted high/low process conditions. Models are also available with an analog output signal (proportional to input) for retransmission to an analog control system and with RS-485 communications for interfacing via digital-communicating DCS, PLCs, and PC-based SCADA systems.

Major Features:

  • Universal input (mA, mV, V, RTD, Thermocouple)
  • Quick setup of process controllers with menu prompts and large back-lit keys
  • NEMA 4X front panel with extra-bright 4-digit display
  • Single or dual alarm trip outputs
  • Isolated analog output for process controllers (4-20mA or 0-20mA)
  • Optional RS-485 digital communications

535 1/4 DIN Single Loop PID Process Controllers

These multifunction Model 535 1/4 DIN Single Loop Process Controllers provide PID control of any analog process variable (temperature, pressure, level, and flow) in batch and continuous process applications.

Available models of the 535 Process Controllers provide a proportional analog control signal output that is typically used to regulate a control valve or similar final control element. Models are also available with alarm outputs for on/off control or to warn of unwanted high/low conditions and with RS-485 communications for interfacing via DCS, PLCs, and PC-based SCADA systems.

When ordered with the Profile Controller option, the 535 Process Controllers provide full ramp and soak capability with 20 recipes and 24 segments per recipe, guaranteed soak with adjustable hysteresis, three event output capability, and a ramp that can be programmed to take place over a specific amount of time or to be based on PV rate of change per hour.

535 Process Controllers offer advanced tuning features allowing you to bring the process under control faster, more accurately, and far more easily than competitive single-loop controllers, PLCs, and PC-based strategies. Its autotune capability constantly analyzes your process and makes modifications to the tuning parameters to ensure precise, long-term, stable control.

Major Features:

  • Universal input (mA, mV, V, RTD or Thermocouple)
  • Isolated analog outputs for process controllers (4-20mA or 0-20mA)
  • Alarm trip outputs (control, high/low, deviation and rate of change)
  • PowerTune delivers pretuning, adaptive tuning and powerback anti-overshoot
  • Quick setup of process controllers with plain-English menu prompts and large back-lit keys
  • NEMA 4X front panel with extra-bright 2-line, 5-digit PV display
  • RS-485 digital communications

Dual Loop Process Controllers

Model 545 1/4 DIN Dual Loop PID Process Controllers

To save the cost of purchasing and installing two separate PID devices, these process controllers incorporate two independent full-feature control loops. These process controllers also provide all of the features and advantages of our Model 535 Process Controllers and offer a selection of preprogrammed compound loop control strategies.

Other available process controllers and backup stations include the Model 531 1/4 DIN Process Controllers/Backup Station. This process controller provides “bumpless” automatic PID control backup for critical loops controlled by PLC, DCS, or PC-based systems by automatically taking control of the loop should the host control signal be lost.

Model 532 1/4 DIN Auto/Manual Backup Station

To provide manual backup of critical control loops upon sensing loss of host (PLC, DCS, or PC) control signal, these process controllers generate a control signal based on a predetermined control value (CV) or the last known CV from the host. The manual signal can be user-modified from the front-panel keypad.

Model 555 1/4 DIN Chlorination/Dechlorination Process Controllers

For automatic and accurate control of chlorine in water and wastewater applications, these process controllers handle flow, proportional control, residual control, compound loop control with lag times, and dechlorination with sulfur dioxide. Simultaneously displaying both flow rate and residual chlorine, these process controllers quickly integrate with flow transmitters and residual analyzers.
